My Daughters.........
You are my daughter, yet we’ve never touched.
I’ve seen your face a million times, in photos.
I day dream of you playing in our home,
Running down our hall, sitting on our deck.
Your home, your hall, your deck……
I’ve come to love you, a surreal kind of love.
I pray that you will love me too, when you’re ready.
I know you will feel sad, scared, confused.
I will hold you, if you let me.
I will wipe your tears away, without speaking.
We have one common language as humans, compassion.
And compassions builds trust, and trust… Love.

Today began like any other, I got up with the kids and Calvin headed off to work. We had a short morning at home, as there were some errands to run. I loaded up the kids and headed to Wal-Mart to develop some photos, then treated them with the Zoo. We all enjoyed seeing the fish, feeding the ducks, and taking a walk. We left the Zoo to head to Fudruckers to meet up with Calvin for lunch. The food was good like usual, and the kids behaved. Then we all went to the kids well baby appointments with their pediatrician. Hannah and Luke each got the MMR shot and another?? in preparation for the girls arrival. We don’t know what could be carried over, so we are all get up to date with shots. The appointment took up most of the afternoon, getting Calvin out of work for the rest of the dayJ We then came home, to check for any news about our court date. As expected, we missed a phone call from Michelle, but there were a few emails. All had gone well, we were parents!!! WOW, it was very surreal, kind of like in the delivery room with my own two births, almost emotionless, out of shock. Then sets in the unspeakable joy!! And calmly, it all begins to feel real in my heart. Wow, I am a mother of five. Now I am speechless……..
